Walk or Die HTML5 port released
Today I'm releasing an HTML5 port of one of the first game poems I made back in 2010, which was no longer readily playable due to the death fo Flash.
More poem than game, Walk or Die was a study in the most minimalistic interaction I could think of. I believe it may have been one of the first hardcore walking simulators. Does it deserve to be called "interactive" at all? You decide. Originally made for the TIGSource "A Game By Its Cover" competition; you can see the cart that inspired it here.
Walk or Die was a super simple procedural sketch, but I found the basic formula compelling enough that I ended up building two other sketches on top of it (The Killer in 2011, and Walking With Magnus in 2018).
Thanks to Raven Lickey and David Kwak for building the foundations of this port.
Please let me know if you find any bugs. Thanks!
